Personal growth issues can look like work/life balance, procrastination, unhealthy habits, stress/burnout, lack of boundaries, poor self-esteem, etc. We have heard many clients say in the past, “I don’t have it bad enough to need counseling/coaching.” While we may be a little biased, we strongly believe that everyone can benefit from coaching/counseling. Additionally, comparing pain, trauma, or stress levels is a game that no one wins. To illustrate the fallacy of this mindset, I want you to think about this situation. If someone took a mallet and crushed every single bone in your pinky, it would be horrifically painful and you would need medical attention, right? Well, what if John Doe got hit with the same mallet and cracked his collarbone? He would also be in awful pain and need medical attention. Since John Doe is in “more pain,” did his pain magically heal your pinky? Does it still hurt, regardless of the pain that John is in? Yes, your mental health works the same way. Your story, struggles, emotions, pain, experiences, and fears are all valid. Every human being on this planet deserves to be heard and listened to. We would love to be the space to hear your experiences and work with you to grow in the areas you desire. Life is short, but it can also be very long, and everyone deserves the chance to live their best life.
