Jackson County Mental Health Task Force

Jackson Co MHTF’s goal is to address the various mental health needs and services within the county. The task force was created to break the silence and stigma of Mental Health. Meetings are held every month, on the second Tuesday of the month at 8:30a and all are welcome. The meeting location is at Reboot Jackson on Recovery Road in Jefferson.

Peace Place

Peace Place, Inc. empowers victims, survivors and our communities to break the cycle of domestic violence through the provision of safe shelter, supportive services, and community awareness in Banks, Barrow and Jackson counties. They offer clients numerous resources to aid in their recovery and empower individuals to have a better future

The Carter Treatment Center

The Carter Treatment Center is a holistic drug rehabilitation center in Jefferson, Georgia, dedicated to using both traditional and creative ways to help patients recover and move forward in their lives. The trained counselors take care to ensure that a patient's mental, emotional, and physical needs are fully taken care of. They provide hope and nonjudgmental support services to overcome dependency and addiction and are proud of their numerous success stories.
